Public Workshops

Our online workshops provide an overview of Alberta's human rights legislation, concepts like the duty to
accommodate, and strategies for preventing and dealing with discrimination.
This workshop is open to anyone wanting basic human rights information, including employees and
employers. Workshop attendees will learn about:


• Alberta's human rights legislation, especially as it relates to the workplace
• Discrimination and harassment in the workplace
• The duty to accommodate
• Human rights and the employment process
• The human rights complaint process
• Strategies for preventing discrimination and harassment in the workplace

Each workshop takes place online over two half-days, 8:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.
